Departments..

This department is responsible for;

  • Offering relevant training to church members especially the clergy.
  • Taking gown measurements for Church Ministers, Deacons, Deaconesses, Lay Leaders, Pastors and Bishops.
  • Making and safe keeping of clergies’ robes and wooden crosses before their presentation.
  • Publication of books.
  • Collecting and banking funds collected from sale of books, fees raised from acquisition of gowns and wooden crosses and any other revenue assigned to it.
  • Presenting departmental financial report to the management/ executive committee and any other relevant body as directed by the executive committee.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the executive committee.

 

This department’s fundamental role is conflict resolution and also includes;

  • Ensuring harmonious coexistence of church members.
  • Giving penalties commensurate with the offenses committed. In case of dismissal from the church, it shall refer such cases to the Holy Synod for the final verdict.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the executive committee.
  • A Bishop shall co-chair the panels. The chairpersons of Women leaders and Mothers’ Union are automatic members of the panel.

The roles and functions of this department are;

  • To explore and exploit various income generating methods by innovating new ones and improving the existing ones.
  • To be part of the budget preparation team.
  • Analyze and find solution to any decline in collections together with the treasury.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the executive committee.

The broad mandate of the development department is to;

  • Develop short, medium and long term development plans for the church.
  • Initiate, co-ordinate and manage the spread of Ruwe Holy Ghost Church of East Africa worldwide including development of the church’s programs that appeal to the youth.
  • Initiate development projects either alone or together with the Pastorates or Dioceses.
  • Supervise and ensure completion of all the initiated projects.

This department’s major responsibilities are;

  • Ensuring adequate and efficient feeding programs during church’s meetings and gatherings.
  • Providing basic amenities such as seats, tents, lighting, clean water etc at all church’s meetings and gatherings.
  • Coordinating with the treasury for prompt funding to accomplish their tasks.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the executive committee.

 

This department is responsible for ;

  • Sell of books and any other items as may be assigned to them by the executive committee.
  • Accounting for all revenue they collect and hand over the same to education department for banking.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned them by the executive committee.

This department’s key responsibilities are;

  • To establish, maintain and update the church’s computerized filling and record keeping system and ensure it is professionally managed.
  • Coordinating with other departments in adopting technology in carrying out their mandate efficiently and effectively.
  • Embracing the new technology to perpetuate the Ruwe Holy Ghost Church’s teachings.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the executive committee.
  • It works under the General Secretary.
